Imani Family Church exists to carter for the spiritual, social, and financial wellbeing of our community, Nation and the World.
- Spiritual wellbeing because all of humanity lives in a fallen world where we need a savior, regardless of our race, gender, social status or financial position. (Romans 3:23)
- Social wellbeing because we believe in the wholesomeness of the Gospel. That Jesus is not only interested with our spiritual wellbeing, but also with our physical and emotional needs. He preached to the multitude and fed them with bread thereafter. (Matthew 14:13-21)
- Financial wellbeing because it is the Will of God to prosper His people. To propagate the Gospel, we need the skills necessary to make and manage the kingdom’s finances. Imani Family will partner with other ministries, men and women of God, to help its members realize their dreams and generate wealth. (3 John 1:2)
I see Imani Family as a God-given ministry striving to help people of all nations and background Connect with God and fellow Christians. It is our sincere believe that our connection with God gives a common purpose to congregate together regardless of our great diversity. At the same time we believe that we are called to do life together. No single Christian can fulfill his/her call without the help of others. Each one of us has the potential to be a solution to the problem of another member. The only way to accomplish this is through small groups.
I see Imani Family providing opportunities Upgrade their spiritual lives by moving from the receiving-end to playing an active role in building God’s kingdom. At Imani Family we believe that we are all part of the body, hence we have a role to play. (Eph 4:15) Imani Family will help all people with whom it has influence to upgrade their social lives by encouraging them to take bold steps towards personal growth in areas of education, entrepreneurship, and various talents.
I see Imani Family becoming a place where each member is given equal opportunity to Serve God and serve people. It is for a reason we are saved and yet continue to live in this fallen world; we are people with a mission, which was handed to us through the eleven disciples. (Matthew 28:19) At Imani we will strive to teach and help people of all ages, races and backgrounds realize their area of ministry and encourage them to serve, while creating environment for them to do so. I see Imani Family as a tool to allow its members to serve one another, the community, this nation and the world.
