- His Presence
And He said, “My presence shall go with you, and I will give you rest.” Then he said to Him, “If Your presence does not go with us, do not lead us up from here. “For how then can it be known that I have found favor in Your sight, I and Your people? Is it not by Your going with us, so that we, I and Your people, may be distinguished from all the other people who are upon the face of the earth? EXODUS 33:14-16
IMANI FAMILY Church believes and works to make our church and our family a dwelling place for the presence of the Lord. The presence of God during our worship and beyond is our primary pursuit. We believe that we cannot accomplish anything without taping to the Holy Spirit, who is referred to as the finger of God. We believe that the Presence of God will manifest when;
- What He loves, we love
- What He hates, we hate
- What is important to Him is Important to us
- What is not so important to Him becomes not so important to us
- The Fear of The Lord [Psalm 111:10]
IMANI FAMILY Church believes that the fear of the Lord is our driving force to fulfilling our divine calling. The fear of the Lord is NOT to be scared of God. The fear of the Lord is to honor and esteem Him above anything or anyone else. It is the fear of the Lord, which caused us to live the life of holiness and purpose knowing that one day we shall give an account of everything done in the body, whether good or bad. The fear of the Lord is manifested when one;
- Obeys Him instantly
- Obeys Him when it does not make sense
- Obeys Him even if it hurts
- Obeys Him even when you do not see a benefit
- Obeys Him to completion
- Empowerment [Ephesians 4:11]
IMANI FAMILY will strive to empower people despite age, race, social economic status, title and background.
Spiritually: – Because Jesus showed us an example of empowering the twelve disciples. The most treasurable inheritance we can leave to our children is the gospel and its manifestation.
Economically: – Because we believe in the totality of the Gospel, and it is the will of God that we should prosper.
Socially: -Because we should transcend social barriers and work together as one body to accomplish our assignment. We are all God’s children.
- Family [1 Corinthians 12:18-26]
Since its inception, Imani Family Church has been a family oriented ministry. Our lives revolve around family, both physical families and spiritual families. God is the author of families and He used the first family to extend His dominion on earth. He blessed the first family and commanded them to multiply and fill the earth. He also used family to bring the Messiah to earth. At Imani we believe that no one should be left behind, when one falls, we reach down and help them. When one wins, we rejoice with that person. Imani will work heard to nourish individual families and our big Imani Family.
- The Word of The Lord [Galatians 1:8-10]
At Imani we believe that the word of the Lord is our final authority. All other gifts should evolve around this profound truth. Any motivational talks or positive thinking cannot be exalted above the Holy Scripture. No man, no angel, no prophecy or word of knowledge, can overrule the authority of the Scripture.
